Terms of Service

Last updated: October 8, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FixMyPermit, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What FixMyPermit Provides

FixMyPermit provides AI-assisted informational tools designed to help users understand permit correction notices, plan-review comments, and similar documents.

The service may provide plain-English explanations, recommended next steps, professional-review flags, draft reviewer-response language, missing-information notices, and resubmission checklists.

3. Not Professional Advice

FixMyPermit is not a building department, architecture firm, engineering firm, law firm, licensed contractor, or permitting authority.

Reports are provided for informational assistance only and do not replace advice, designs, calculations, inspections, signatures, certifications, or services required from qualified or licensed professionals.

4. No Guarantee of Permit Approval

FixMyPermit does not guarantee that a permit application, resubmission, drawing set, response letter, or correction package will be approved by any government agency, reviewer, inspector, or permitting authority.

Requirements vary by jurisdiction and may change. The permitting authority has final authority over its requirements and decisions.

5. AI-Generated Information

FixMyPermit uses artificial intelligence. AI-generated information can be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or misinterpret a document. You are responsible for reviewing generated information before relying on it or submitting anything to a permitting authority.

6. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that documents you upload may lawfully be processed by FixMyPermit and that information you submit is accurate.

You are also responsible for verifying all corrections, requirements, code references, professional-review requirements, and final submission materials with the applicable permitting authority or qualified professional.

7. Paid Reports

Some FixMyPermit features require a one-time payment. The price displayed at checkout applies to that report unless otherwise stated.

Purchasing a report does not guarantee a particular result, approval, permit issuance, code interpretation, or professional determination.

8. Draft Reviewer Responses

Draft reviewer-response language must be reviewed and edited before submission. You should not state that a drawing, document, or correction was completed unless that change was actually completed.

9. Prohibited Use

You may not use FixMyPermit to violate laws, impersonate another person, submit fraudulent documents, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, misuse automated systems, or use the service in a manner that harms FixMyPermit or other users.

10. Availability

FixMyPermit may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue features at any time. Temporary outages, processing failures, or third-party service interruptions may occur.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FixMyPermit is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages resulting from use of the service, reliance on generated information, permitting decisions, project delays, professional fees, construction costs, or lost opportunities.

12. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated as FixMyPermit changes. Continued use of the service after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.

13. Contact
